"Well kept safe park. With a lovely walk to the water pumping station along the river. Part of the footpath along the river is closed at the moment but plenty of other routes leading down to the bridge. Also a quiet memorial garden."

"Large green space with a playground however the real hidden gem here is the crystal clear river a bit of a walk from the carpark down the gravel track. Water is about knee deep and more than clean enough to paddle in or for kids to take a dip. There's also stepping stones and little minnows to catch if you take a net and bucket - it's very pretty!!"
