"Counselling was never something I thought about until day to day life became to much for me. I made a post on Bark and Kevin was the only one to come back to me offering his service. He phoned me up and took the time to answer any questions I had and following this conversation we booked our first session together. Leading up to the first session I was very apprehensive about it all but I signed in and we got the session under way, immediately from the get go I was made to feel comfortable and able to talk to Kevin without the fear of being judged. Mine and Kevin’s sessions lasted for an extended period of time and throughout our sessions together we went from the original reason for me reaching out for a counsellor to looking back at historic life events and how they shaped me to being who I am today. Kevin will always take the time to listen to you and allow you to freely talk and not judge you on your past whilst also sharing experience from his past with you. He is also very accommodating when it comes to financial situations, I had financial trouble during our times and couldn’t afford the standard weekly session so instead of saying he couldn’t see me anymore we agreed to do the on a fortnightly programme instead. I honestly can’t thank Kevin enough for being the ear that listens and a voice of reason and experience helping me get back to being the person I was a few years ago. If anyone is looking for a counsellor I would whole heartedly recommend Kevin without a second thought."
