"Nice rugby and cricket pitches, they are well maintained, there is a fake grass pitch or couple of pitches depending on what is being played on them (hockey mainly). Sports teams for any age group or gender, male and female changing rooms. The coaches are all great and have a strong emphasis on not only high quality coaching but teaching of fair play and humility, no swearing, no fighting, don't put up with hissy fits when losing, either play properly or don't play at all, it's great to have them reinforce that every week. Plenty of parking, although some of that is gravel/grass. They often have carboot sales on a Sunday which is kind of nice but causes havoc when there are home matches on the same day, that said they traffic control it quite well. I've not really used the indoor facilities in a very long time but the bar in the clubhouse is a good size, they sometimes use it for birthdays and other events, small bar but well stocked, there's a kitchen where they make hot snacks and a separate tea and coffee station they set up near the top pitches so people don't have to walk as far to get something hot, I've been coming here since I was a kid and now my kids play rugby here, there are nicer venues and probably better pitches (although they really do look after these) but the vagrants has always done everything well and they actually care about coaching and teaching the kids not only sports but fair play and comaradarie, the prices in the bar are fair and teams start from about 6 ->"
