Reviews of Prohibition
"Had the bouncer yank a bottle of VK out my mouth having it smack off my teeth, he then poured it on the floor outside. I won’t be coming back, it’s a shame I absolutely love karaoke and really enjoyed myself till that moment, and seeing through these comments it’s not the first time the bouncer has been mistreating people who have came here. This is just shocking."
"The bouncers are racists and the worst. For New Year’s Eve me and few of my Indian friends wanted to go to Prohibition cause the place has best music. However, at the entrance we were denied entry cause to the bouncers “we don’t look like people who would spend money for drinks”. If we don’t want to spend money why would we even show up at that place. When we said to the bouncer that he is being racist cause he let other white people in who were behind us but not us, the bouncer replied saying “Yeah I am and I don’t care”. I didn’t expect this kind of treatment from Prohibition especially racial profiling people. It’s an experience which hurt us all and we won’t returning to this place. The emotional damage done to us is enough. Would not recommend this place to anyone."
"Awful place, one of the females walking around offering jaeger bombs wouldn’t take no for an answer arguing with me because I didn’t have (nor did I want) a drink in my hand. After the 3rd or 4th time of me saying no I told her no means no. She then proceeded to threaten me by getting the door staff involved and having me removed and other stuff I couldn’t hear over the music. The toilets were absolutely revolting, drinks over priced, music not great, staff were rude. There are plenty of other places with a much nicer atmosphere in aberdeen. This was my first visit and as many have said before me, will not be returning."
"My girlfriend went on 21/10. She drank a little bit too much which happens and was thrown out by a male security guard who entered the female toilets to find her, she was with her friend. Completely unacceptable from a business which should have the safeguarding of its customers as its highest priority. They are happy to ply you with alcohol but will severe there responsibility to you there. Won't be visiting again and will actively encourage others not to. Far better places in Aberdeen to go."
"Very unusual place where the bouncers enjoy their power trip. Been in Aberdeen many a year and have heard from both friends and the suppressed news about the many spikings that occur here. If you’re a fresher, or somebody who is in Aberdeen on a whim, I would avoid this place at all costs. There’s a reason I, and many others, have avoided this place for years."
