"UPDATED REVIEW (2023) PLEASE READ: My original review was specifically about Dr Femke Leathes who WAS the founder and owner of Leathes Psychology. However, Dr Leathes is no longer at Leathes Psychology nor is she affiliated with them in any way. Because of this I CANNOT RECOMMEND Leathes Psychology any longer, in good conscience, given that the reason it was such a great practice has left - Dr Leathes. I personally would be very cautious about seeking mental health care from a practice that is seemingly now operating using the name and reputation of a psychologist who is no longer practising there. So in essence Dr Femke Leathes is an amazing psychologist however she now has nothing to do with Leathes Psychology so I remove any endorsement or recommendation I have made for the clinic. ORIGINAL REVIEW (2020) Truly amazing practice that I couldn’t recommend highly enough! I had received a lot of mental health and psychology input over the years from various professionals with very little progress and very few good experiences, until I came to see my psychologist at Leathes Psychology. I can honestly say that they helped change my life, and it was the first time I had felt truly heard and treated like a human first, I never felt judged or not listened too, or anything other than truly cared for. As someone who had quite complex and serious mental health issues when I first came to the practice, I feel like I was helped to find peace with myself and with true compassion and empathy I was helped to work through my trauma and come to a place where I feel happy with myself and able to cope with life along with having hope for the future. There aren’t words for how truly thankful I am to Dr Leathes for helping save my life."

"Unfortunately, although the answer was indeed clear, simple, and straightforward, there is some difficulty in justifiably assigning to it the fourth of the epithets you applied to the statement, inasmuch as the precise correlation between the information you communicated and the facts, insofar as they can be determined and demonstrated, is such as to cause epistemological problems, of sufficient magnitude as to lay upon the logical and semantic resources of the English language a heavier burden than they can reasonably be expected to bear."

"From the very first email sent, Leathes Psychology were extremely helpful, reassuring, caring and professional. I was assigned a wonderful therapist after a thorough assessment, who gave me invaluable information and techniques tailored to tackle my issues in a way other therapies never had (and other therapists had never bothered to). Over the course of my sessions I tackled my fears head on with excellent support and structure and can now say I am a completely different person, ready to take on whatever life throws at me."

"Initial impression was positive until I was placed on a waiting list, told it would take 1-2 months max. Not a problem. Over 7 months later i've not heard anything. They offered a lot but delivered on very little. Not sure if it's the false hope or the £150 it cost that irks me most. Could not recommend based on this"
