Compton & Shawford Pre-school

Compton & Shawford Pre-school is a warm and welcoming establishment located in the heart of Compton, Winchester. Our location in The Reeves Scout Hut tucked into Martins Fields is ideal for children to explore and discover the natural beauty of the outdoors. Our play areas offer a variety of activities such as sandpits, mud kitchens, and water play areas where children can enjoy outdoor play and learn about nature. We have a secure, enclosed garden area where children can explore and engage with nature.

We offer a range of activities that meet the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) requirements. We focus on developing literacy, numeracy, communication, and language skills. We encourage creative thinking and exploration. We believe that learning should be a fun and enjoyable experience for every child, which is why we use play-based learning techniques to help children develop their skills.

Our staff is qualified, experienced, and dedicated to providing an environment that is safe and secure for your child to learn and play. Our team is highly skilled in Early Years education and is passionate about helping each child achieve their full potential.

We provide flexible attendance options to accommodate the needs of families. Our pre-school is open for morning and afternoon sessions, as well as full-day attendance options. We also offer wrap-around care, including a lunch club where children can enjoy a nutritional meal after their morning session.
