Reviews of Ranvilles Farm House
"We stayed here for a Peppa pig trip and it was superb! Hosts very welcoming and friendly. Loved the cottage and fabulous garden. Thanks for having us , hopefully we will be back again one day ."
"What a find! So different from modern clinical living instead cosiness and comfort returning to an age of elegance and gracious living.Surrounded by beautiful gardens, plenty of parking. Being a listed building it feels a privilege. The bedroom was of a good size with a small ensuite that worked perfectly and the shower was wonderful blasting out lots of hot water. What I found impressive was the little details such as the refreshments in the room , the selection of teas including fruit teas, coffee and hot chocolate. Likewise in the bathroom, the provision of all the basics with shampoo, shower gel and do much more. So much thought considered for all needs. The breakfast...Wow! The elegance of the room and the table so carefully laid, again the provision of every conceivable type of sauce and homemade jams. A wide selection of everything including the gluten free bread. This compared to a five star hotel. The hosts themselves ooze a gracious efficiency all to provide a homely and comfortable stay."
"Easy to find, however host made sure we had excellent directions. Plenty of parking and 4 acres of secure grounds to walk the dogs. Host was really friendly and welcoming. Our dog friendly room had twin beds which were so comfy I had the best nights sleep. The room was warm and cosy with really good quality sheets and towels (towels were huge!) shower was amazing! Plenty of tea and coffee with lovely large cups. Fruit left on a plate for us which was a nice touch. Toiletries were lovely. Breakfast in a sumptuous dining room, with buffet style fruit, yoghurt, bread and cereal followed by beautifully cooked English breakfast with toast and croissant. Lovely relaxed atmosphere, we will definitely be staying again."
"Beautiful house, full of history with most of the original features. The room was big with double aspect windows, with views of the gorgeous gardens. The bed was huge and very comfortable with crisp clean bedding. Very quaint with antique furniture, in keeping with the house. Free parking provided in a travelled courtyard. Always a bonus! Breakfast was very nice but you have to stipulate a time the previous night. Not a problem for us. The owners were very hospitable and nothing was too much trouble. I would definitely recommend and will be back next year when we go on another cruise!"
