"Booked taxi from Northampton to Gatwick, the operator was very helpful while making the booking. The taxi arrived on time on the day, was clean and the driver was very professional and drove very well. I was troubled due to some bad reviews but I felt safe and it was a comfortable journey with my 2 children."

"Miserable experience going for a ride with 3 of their drivers on almost all occasions these 3 drivers were asking intrusive questions about personal life. Felt very offended by their negative attitudes. Complaining about their own personal lives making the journey a negative experience. During busy times their Controllers have no control and begin to panic making your experience even more miserable by being rude. One of their disgruntled drivers even pointed out the exact Location of where the owner of Mayfair themselves lives. Shocking and disgusting to say the least. After a year and a bit of using them will not be giving them anymore of our Business. Only positive out of the whole experience is 95% of the time their drivers carry card readers and their cars are clean."

"Review is made on behalf of my wife. 1. Her company made booking for airport transfer to Heathrow with 2 weeks in advance. (Company pays the invoice) 2. On Friday Mayfair makes contact to confirm pick up time for Monday 03:25am. 3. Monday 03:21am, Mayfair operator rings to say that the car which was going to pick her up broke down. 4. Plan B was offered to share taxi with another person going to Heathrow which my wife accepted. 5. 10 minutes later another alternative pops up, operator has found another driver with the car. 6. Driver&car shows up, (sub-contracted, I believe)”private hire” license taken down, driver is surprised that someone is checking him weather he’s legit and finally he asks if we pay cash in advance. 7. Operator ask for another 3- mins to find another driver. At this point my wife had enough of it and asked me to take her. Overall Mayfair, on today’s occasion you are very incompetent and unreliable to provide airport transfers. Unfortunately no lower rate than 1 star cause you don’t even deserve that much. "They totally forgot about my booking so I was late to work because of their incompetence and more driver don t have card payment so we had to stop and lose more time in our way. Worse company if you have an important event or anywhere to get at a specific time don t use this company"
