"I have stayed at this hotel several times and I wanted to call out Adele for the amazing service she had provided. Very welcoming at the front desk also she gave me an upgrade to the room (subject to availability). This is the reason why I stay at Voco Reading, because of the quality service from each team member. The rooms and clean and great bar/restaurant. Situated next to the football stadium and easy travelling distance within Reading (without the centre traffic)."

"The positives are that if you like football and football fans you will love this hotel. The sheets were clean and the beds comfortable. Breakfast was good value but the raw materials were cheap. Staff are friendly but I didn’t like the security guards speaking in a foreign language as I walked past them. I think that’s very bad manners. They could have been saying anything about us. Also the hotel was OVERRUN by football fans with some swearing after the match. We didn’t realise it was match night and I would definitely never come again on a match night. The hotel was great when first new but now it is a bit dirty to be frank. Our curtains appeared to have blood stains or chocolate stains on them. All in all I will go to the premier inn ."

"Nice hotel with clean facilities excellent for the money. Most of the staff are attentive and professional. One man ruins the hotel, a guy working in the bar called Roman was very rude and short to bar staff in front of me and was very snappy with my colleague when he hadn't signed his bill for the day (one night left) he accosted him the second he stood to leave in a rude manner. No people skills at all. However, I must say the rest of the staff were exemplary."

"Absolutely amazing hotel, thoroughly enjoyed the stay. Rooms are very modern and clean. The breakfast is fresh, hot and tasty. Good service and great staff. Nichola was my host and she did a fantastic job. They offer great room service from toothbrushes all the way to sewing kits. Glad because I left my toothbrush at home. They have a swimming pool, sauna and gym. Which is complimentary!!!"

"This is without doubt a must revisit and I cannot pass enough Praise on the standards, its extremely spacious and well maintained the room was well equipped and the bed was extremely comfortable. I must admit to having the best nights sleep ever on these Pillows and raved about them to my wife. The staff were very polite and wanted to satisfy all our needs. I wasn't a fan of the coffee bags in the rooms and no fried eggs for breakfast was disappointing but in no way reduced my stay. I look forward to discovering other ones in the chain around the UK and taking my Wife to share in the experience."
