"Lazy staff, closing the store 15 mins before closing time, not just closing, they are all outside the store and going home a good 15 mins (or maybe more) before closing time! I'm sure you're not meant to be doing so and it will be reported."
"Really rude shelf stacking staff in store this morning. Barging in front of customers without any apology. Two older women who should know better"
"This is our local shop plenty of chilled products for convenience dinners pizza, fresh pasta, quiches, selection of frozen foods and canned products. They also have an isle with medicines, baby supplies, cleaning and washing products. Meal deals available for lunch and a full isle of alcoholic and soft drinks. Usually plenty of deals available with a club card. Also ample parking and an ATM with free cash withdrawals."
"Useful local Tesco, slightly more expensive than the main shops, but always clean and well stocked."
"So to preface this, I've never had an issue with this store prior to this incident but given what happened, I'm inclined to make this post. This is my local store and the closest store to my current home that my American Fiancee is comfortable walking to without getting severely anxious. It's taken her some time to acclimate enough to be confident walking to the store then back without assistance. However, she entered the store today with money given to her from my own wallet that I knew to be legit. She bought a simple enough meal deal and a Pepsi max and upon going to pay at the check out, the female cashier took the note then promptly declared it a fake. This was not followed up by any sort of test nor check to see if it was fake save for putting it in her machine. (The note was slightly crinkled but honestly?? I've given worse notes to cashiers in other places, this should not have been a big deal) This was followed by insinuating that my fiancee (who at this point was willing to pay by card and was incredibly anxious) was attempting to steal and should unpack everything she had just tried to pay for. A manager came over to query what was happening and verified the note though no apology was given from either of them for the distress caused. Needless to say that I came home from my own work shift to find my partner in tears over this incident. If you are going to employ someone then I recommend training them in proper forgery identification because this could have been completely avoided if the rude individual on tills could use her common sense to check a note over using a machine that is clearly flawed if a mere fold in the note can fool it."
