"I used BDB Pitmans for a recent property purchase. Initially, they were quick to respond to my emails, but once the transaction was underway, they were very slow. Sometimes it would be over two weeks with no contact from them, so I would call/email for an update, and then have to wait another 3 or 4 working days for a response. In addition to this, my purchase was dealt with by at least three different solicitors, who required all the original documentation to be separately sent over. Finally, and the main reason for the two stars, was the lack of professionalism. I was continually asked for the same information more than once. I felt like I was constantly having to be proactive in asking them for updates on my purchase, and even suggesting that they start the next steps in the process. When all was said and done, it took a lot longer to complete this purchase than it should have done, and I believe that this was due to BDB Pitmans poor workmanship.
