Ferndene Farm Shop

"I'm a regular shopper at Ferndene but that'll be stopping. They have lost the plot with their pricing. We ended up buying two red peppers at £7.95 p/kg amounting to £4.89! A cucumber for £2.10 and a pack of cherry tomatoes at more than £4. Upon reviewing the receipt in the car because the prices were so much higher than the previous week, I returned and spoke to the staff on the til who said that a number of people had also brought this to their attention. What was a nice trip out from Christchurch for some well priced food is now considerably more expensive than shopping at Marks or Waitrose where I get an option for organic veg without all the plastic packaging. I won't be returning."

"Love this shop, been coming for years. Waiting what seemed like forever to be served today, kind of puts you off coming in. You need more staff or better management, don’t send most of your staff on break at the same time. After spending half an hour in a queue then all the staff come back as you leave is frustrating. I felt sorry for the poor young lad having to cope with such a long queue, he is a credit to your shop, very polite , offered the help an elderly lady even when he was under pressure."
