High Street Dental Practice

"Couldn’t recommend this practice as failed to look after my basic needs as a patient - being registered with a NHS dentist shouldn’t mean you are second best to private patients. Being told you can’t book in an emergency appointment and having to travel to a different dentist because you lack a duty of care isn’t what I consider to be a service level anyone should receive . No consistency in dental staff and lottery of seeing a regular face . I feel sorry for the reception staff who are genuinely polite but hiding the fact this practice cannot and should not be given any NHS status . A shame as when I joined the practice it functioned well for a while . Wouldn’t touch this practice full stop."

"I don't review usually but I've been today and the service was awful. I had fillings done a few months ago and 3 have came out, had an appointment on the 30th December to sort that they cancelled then since Christmas the phone lines were down or not answered. Got through last week and got a fast appointment I thought great said I had 3 missing. I go today to be be told by a new dentist she has 5 mins and can only do one I explained I said 3 on the phone as I've waited so long she was not happy said typical NHS then to tell me there all bad and need deep fillings and sorted I said the last dentist filled them and was happy, she said do you want to take it up with him and was very rude and what do you want doing they need to much you need x ray and look far gone. She puts two temps in and said I'm not drilling as there gone sends me out and charged for two bad temps. I spoke to reception and it's clear they have changed all the staff and no one's happy there. If your NHS they clearly look down on you and the last dentist clearly didn't know what he was doing if my teeth are that bad. My old dentist Mr khan I think it was was great gave me faith in going but now wow hopefully I can find a new one where there happy I pay my taxes and my bill."

"Cannot recommend this dental practice enough!! I am terrified of doctors and dentist but Laura calmed me down so much she was so helpful! The process is so easy when registering with the practice, the staff are so nice and welcoming. If you’re local I 100% recommend the high street dental practice."

"It was a while ago when I phoned them up to book a visit. Charged me 60 from the front and thats ok, but when I got there couple days later on my first visit, I was told that they cannot do anything because they need a specialist that wasnt there at the time and was suppoused to be in couple days later. They said they will call me when he will be in or I can call in few days and ask if they wont reach. Not only they didnt reach out to me, they also stop picking up the phone when I called. One of the time I was hanging so long on the line that somebody picked up and put down the phone on the table, I could hear everything around but there was no response. Was charged 60 pounds for literaly nothing and got ghosted."

"As a private patient the service is terrible. Staff are not able to book appointments correctly, I had several rearranged without reason. Staff are rude to customers. I called for an hour to make an appointment then gave up and walked to the surgery to find 4 girls sitting at the desk not doing anything, I was told they had been busy at 10am and not able to answer the phone. Had denture made that I had to fit myself it was so badly made my mouth bled. Took over a month to get it looked at before waiting for a new one to be made. There are alot of bad reviews about this place I am surprised it is still open. It needs a good manager to deal with customer care."
