"Popped in for tea and cake after a Mothers Day walk. A group of 4 servers were too interested in chatting than taking our order, once they had I ordered an ultimate hot chocolate but without the marshmallows. Menu states it came with a cookie but only came with a small bit of cream on top and was just warm, for the price it was essentially just a normal hot chocolate. My husbands cake was a bit dry. Overall not a great experience for the price we paid."

"We had a lovely meal at the Forest Cafe today. We had a mixture of brunch and lunch. The pancake stack with bacon and maple syrup with scrambled eggs on the side was delicious. Eggs are very creamy. My daughter had a tuna and cheese panini which was great and my husband had the steak fries which he enjoyed very much. Clear plates all round. The atmosphere is delightful and the staff are very helpful and friendly. The shop is also lovely to wander round."
