"Good haircut with complimentary Turkish coffee. I came here after price went up at previous barber, now price has gone up here too, so 4 out of 5."
"This place is not suitable for children. Avoid. Quite a shock last time. Came with our 4 year old son for a haircut. The young gentlemen started grasping his head really hard and pushing in all directions. I had to intervene and tell him to stop. Shocking. Was left with a bruise on his neck as well. Also, 15+ videoclips on TV and always grumpy. It was ok when they opened, we had a few decent haircuts but it's getting worse and worse as if they don't care anymore. This was the last time we are visiting."
"Great barber! Walk in service. Clean and professional cut. I would suggest you give them a try. To top it off they have excellent prices. My only complaint is on occasions communication can be challenging as the English skills need work."
"Like other reviewers, the first time I went to this place was just after they opened. I got the full Turkish experience from an older guy who turned out to be the owner. He only charged £15 but I appreciated this must be some kind of opening offer. Throughout the whole haircut, the young man, who made me an excellent Turkish coffee, watched intently. The second time I visited the young coffee maker appeared to be in charge. He seemed confident with the trimmers was reluctant to cut the top of my hair. He threw in a few frills such as a hot towel and a hair wash and once again I was charged £15, but he looked at me forlornly as I handed over the cash, as if expecting more. When I got home, my wife pronounced it the worst cut I'd ever had. On closer examination I had to agree - and I've had some howlers. Within a week or so I was able to visit my preferred barber in London. He's a remarkably kind and diplomatic man but couldn't help but say, "I think perhaps whoever cut your hair last time is still learning." So if you are lucky enough to get the older guy I can happily recommend this place. But if, as I suspect, he's returned to his first shop, I'd give it a swerve."
"Not been open long so currently no card machine.. cash only. But what a treat! Walk in off the street for a beard trim and wet shave. Ended up with.. beard trim, wet hot towel shave, tidy neckline, hair ear singing, full face and hair wash, little back and shoulder rub down. Such a great experience. Charged £15... paid £20 as it was well worth it. You must go! Great experience. Well done Turkish barbers... you smashed it"
