"Highly rate our fish and chip dinner on our first visit. Crispy battered cod, well presented, tasty, lovely staff. In fact we enjoyed our meal so much we went back the following week and had a roast! Again delicious, roast beef, fresh vegetables, home cooked roast potatoes served in a giant Yorkshire pudding! Highly recommend a visit."

"A really lovely pub with welcoming staff and a great atmosphere too. The food is fresh and delicious, the roast dinners are the best. Plenty of seating and a small children's play area in the garden. Lots of parking too."

"Nice pub went as a party of 10 for a meal. The meal was nice looking and bit expensive but most of our party had to return some foods and drinks. I chose steak beautifully cooked chips under cooked and my seasonal veg nearly raw. Pudding was lovely looking I didn't have any as no dairy or egg free choices most of the table chose hot chocolate but unfortunately only 1 got the chocolate drink the rest ended up with hot milk. The service was great and they were apologetic but didn't offer a discount to anyone for the constant returns of food or beverage. And we were the only table eating?"

"Spotlessly clean. Nice staff. A lovely big breakfast so reasonably priced with fried bread. On this occasion, the bacon and mushrooms were overcooked hence only 4 stars. I'm sure this was unfirtunate so I would definitely go again"
