"Really helpful and always a top quality service. Been using them for 4 years now!"
"Dropped car off late Monday with an engine management issue. Problem investigated first thing Tuesday, identified, part ordered and changed allowing me to pick up car at 4.00pm Tuesday. Outstanding service and good value."
"Very honest and reliable service from Oz, very happy with the work he has done on my car and quote/price he gave me. Highly recommend VSpeed!"
"Avoid unless you want to be charged twice for their poor workmanship and being charged for unnecersary work and parts. Had my front break discs and pads replaced in July of last year. In January of this year a loud rattling noise appeared on the front near side. Returned to V Speed to have it looked at to be told "there is a bolt missing on the calliper that as far as we can tell was not tightened correctly." I explained that they were the last people to service our breaks. At this point they assured me that "We've replaced the bolt and it will last up to 10,000 more miles". Late September of this year after less than 2,000 additional miles a grinding noise started again on the fron right. Returned to V Speed again and after two hours were told that the "front drivers side disk and pad were completly worn theough and this has caused the caliper to sieze and the bearing would also need replacing." I explained the above detail of our visit in Febuary and after a further 15 minutes of waiting was informed that "Actually the bearing is fine but you will need to pay for new pads, discs and the drivers side calliper." I explained that given our previous visits to V Speed and the costs of these visits that this was unnaceptable. I was then told "Well you can leave it with us and pay or we can return the vehicle to you as its done 20,000 miles since we replaced them." I explained again that in Febuary they assured me it would last 10,000 miles and since Febuary the vehicle has done less than 2,000 miles. At this point the mechanic smirked and repeated the pricing clearly unwilling to resolve the issue. Obviously I refused to pay and had the vehicle returned to me. Durin the entire interaction with the mechanic he didnt make eye contact and was completly unwilling to reason with me or seem to care what I had to say. I have now taken the vehicle elsewhere and subsequently been told pads and discs should last a minimum of 25,000 miles before needing replacing and usually 35-40,000 miles dependent on driving conditions etc. Additionally the Caliper and wheel bearing were fine."
"Called at 12.30pm requiring glow plugs for a commercial vehicle which had become hard to cold start. Katie ordered in better quality replacement parts (not cheap ones) which even arrived before I did at 2pm! Steve (mechanic) is an expert in diesel fuel injection and carried out a delicate fiddly job perfectly. He even did an idle speed and throttle adjustment at no extra charge. All staff were efficient and friendly. Price was as agreed and will have no hesitation in going back again."
