Reviews of Terrace Cafe
"Great vibes for tea time."
"Coffee and cake was decent today, but as cyclists we were made to feel unwelcome and a bit of an annoyance. Asked us to take water bottles elsewhere to fill. Would not visit again unfortunately."
"Stopped for a coffee and hot choc. Very friendly place and quick service whilst other tea shops in the village were busy and slow. Had a nice muffin too."
"Superb food (see pics of cheese quiche and salad attched) attentive service. Lovely place in the centre of the village. I loved the pictures in the restaurant of the local wildlife; it was a lovely touch. Will definitely be back!"
"Disappointed. Place was busy (cafe on the other side of road was closed) and it looked like they dropped their standards. I had egg royale, it came in a big plate with no garnish or any piece of herb, so meal looked small and sad from the very start. Hollandaise sauce was weird, frothy and tasted like sour cream, no silky smooth texture and that right amount of acidity. Muffins weren't cut to even pieces, however, for a good note, they put quite a lot of salmon in there. And guess what, it is more expensive that most places around. Vegetarian breakfast was just average, can't fault anything there, also can't say it was good. Service was weird, felt like they didn't had enough waiting staff."
