"Tricky experience really. I ordered two products, and received an email to collect them. Turns out, only half my things were ready to pick up. Two months later, its clear the other item isn't coming. The only easy to deal with that is to dial customer service, which was not pleasant. Had to send an email follow up, and was then not given the option of collecting the item but was sent a refund, which took a fortnight to arrive. So like, no. There are better options of sporting goods, use one of them. SportsDirect, Amazon, just not JD."

"This place has no set hours, opens and closes whenever the staff feel like it all times of day. They were closed early on a day when I had driven specifically to pick up an order, shutters half pulled but customers still inside. The lady on the door just said manager wants to close early. I asked if she could get my orders out the back and was told no. I asked to speak to the manager as the girl was quite rude and unhelpful (I had seen her before on a previous visit and found her quite rude then.) the manager was worse! No wonder the staff are not customer friendly when they’re taught by such rude management. A customer service course or 2 wouldn’t go amiss!"
"Went here to collect an order that had been placed on line. Opening times stated on line and on my order said they opened at 9am. It was almost 9.15 before they got there! Wouldn't normally be a problem but I hadn't taken any cash for the car park!! Luckily had my debit card with me (as proof of ID for jd) so had to put 50p pm that! If they'd opened on time I wouldn't have had to pay anything for parking! It took a good 8 minutes from when they eventually opened the get my order from out the back."
"Small shop. Staff were awful in there, no one seemed to know what they were doing. Waited so long to get served. Bought trainers off the shelf had £50 sale, then when I got the trainers came up with £70, trying to explain this is not the price. Had it not been a xmas present I would have told them to stick it and walked out. I did get them for £50, won't use that branch again. Staff to young, not got a bloody clue"
