"I do not pretend to be a suit expert, but when shopping for clothes, I am often disappointed in the quality and service. Not here! The owner keeps a well sourced collection of beautiful suits, to back it up he has 3 generations of knowledge and a long career of experience. It’s fair to say he has legitimate expertise, an interesting and cultured chap too. He made the time to share his insight into the craft and style of the various garments and organically helped me find the perfect suit, even though I didn’t quite know what I wanted if I’m honest. Alterations were made within 2 weeks at a fair price. The prices here are good value considering the quality of the clothes alone, when you consider the service on offer it makes the deal that much sweeter. I ended up spending more than I originally wanted on my suit, but I don’t regret a penny, as I have now got ‘more’ suit that I thought was possible, and it will give me joy for years to come. The term ‘buy cheap buy twice’ comes to mind. Even if you haven’t considered buying at this ‘level’ in the market, have a look, there’s usually some deals to be had. If you appreciate the idea of dealing with a small independent business, one to one, this is a chance to do so, a chance that is sadly becoming rarer in all industries. It was a pleasure.
