"Last couple of days before I went there with my friends and we gave ordered large pizza then fish and chips that was really amazing and also their service was very faster. Thankful to them."
"The food was great, but the service was disrupted by a person from a delivery service and a (manager?) This is my usual takeaway, but I was just back from a family funeral. I didn't need their drama added to my night.. I have enough with family let alone them screaming at each other over the counter. Edit: I have been in since, and the service has been really great and the food still delicious."
"One of the best fish and chips I’ve ever had. Really big portion and top customer service. Prices are good too. Worth every penny"
"Worst vegetarian wrap ever. There supposed to be vegetables inside, but it looked like someone put waste scraps inside. 70% of onion and then giants chunks of almost uncooked carrot (not even pealed), and pepper still with seeds inside. Lettuce and mushroom, just few bits of them, and all looked like rotten. Fries - more like potatoes cut in quarters. Terrible experience. Especially that few months ago I was quite happy, as my vegetarian wrap looked different and fresh. I only gave two stars, because delivery woman was very very nice. But I won't eat there again. Disappointed."
"i generally have had very good experiences with this place! the food is pretty good and i honestly thought they were the best chippy i've had. sometimes they give me extra food that i hadn't ordered but hey, i didn't pay for it, so why complain? i ordered my usual last week (smoked haddock supper) and spat out paper. i peeled back the batter on my fish and found that they had wrapped the fish in paper before battering and frying it, something that greatly perplexed me to say the least. since i've never had problems with them before, so i phoned them up and asked what on earth happened. the background noise on the phone was loud and the man on the other end seemed to be impatient with me for being confused as i asked why there was paper in there. he explained that they put the fish in paper due to customer complaints about greasy food, which i understood- after all, there's always a piece of paper at the bottom of the box, right? so of course, i told him that i didn't mean the paper at the bottom, i meant that the fish had been fried in paper, and he said that yes, that is what he meant. they fried the fish in paper to stop it from being greasy, and he was very sorry but he had to because of complaints, and if i phone them next time i can ask for them not to fry my fish in paper. i was very confused when i hung up. i thought to myself, am i going crazy? that's not a thing that normal people do, right? after speaking to a few friends i was consoled that no, that's absolutely not normal, and they're insane. the food was inedible and i got a refund from ubereats. needless to say i was very disappointed. honestly, if you're crazy enough to put paper in your fish to stop it from being greasy (weird and gross, i've never thought they were greasy anyway) and stupid enough to give away free food, you really shouldn't be running a business. unfortunately, i'm not going to be buying from them again."
