Only gripe would be the chefs staring at everyone from the kitchen the whole time made us feel quite uncomfortable. "This is the third time we have visited Nonno’s restaurant in Belper and we will return again! The staff are extremely friendly and know how to have a laugh, and seem more than happy to accommodate dietary requirements (I base this assumption on my extremely fussy 9 year old!!!) The restaurant is very welcoming and cosy, without feeling like you’re up close and personal with the next guests. As far as I’m aware the only toilets are down some stairs and i am not sure if there is a lift, so if you’re a disabled guest I would recommend double checking with the restaurant before booking, but I may be wrong about this. The food itself is fantastic. Beautifully plated, and portion sizes are perfect to oversized in my opinion depending on what you have. The pizza bases are rustic and the sauces are seasoned perfectly. This time we were a table of 9 (7 adults, a child and a toddler) we weren’t drinking alcohol and only half the table had desserts, and on average we spent around £27.50 per person."

"I loved this restaurant went with a friend welcomed to a lovely little table with a prompt and speedy service. Had a few cocktails that came stunningly dressed and appearances didnt disappoint on tasting. Starters and mains was exceptional had no room for dessert disappointingly. I highly reccomend this place and could not fault from entrès to main. I will be returning that is a definate."
