"This used to be the best place to go for a takeaway, however ordered here yesterday and on picking up the restaurant looks like a storage area, hardly any staff and the food was so salty we barely at any. Will never order here again, £45 what a waste of money."

Why doesn't the website say this? Why have the sit down menus on the website? Needless to say, we were disappointed and went elsewhere but it's not rocket science. "Wouldn’t usually write reviews but to anyone who’s thinking of going to FUCHIS In rumbridge street I honestly wouldn’t bother. Food was ok but the place was really let down by service from the front of house staff. Half the restaurant floor has been turned into a storage area. The drinks were non existent with soft drinks being completely flat, filthy bottles of beer bought out to the table cracked and damaged plates long waits on food even when there were only 3 tables in use, plate warmers with burnt out candles. Poor attitude from head waitress when issues were raised and the audacity to add a service charge for the privilege of having one of the worst dining In experiences I’ve had in years."

"Very disappointing! Order Singapore noddles paid extra for king prawns got tiny prawns. Had chicken curry and chicken was raw and very cheap quality. Had squid and was under cooked couldn’t eat. The large spring roll was also raw and had to much batter, to which the chef agreed. Only item that we ordered that we could eat was the boiled rice it was good. Restaurant asked that we brought all items back so it could be seen and we could have a refund. The Chinese is half hour drive. I did not drive back as in total it would have been 2 hours round trip in total and petrol prices are insane, plus now I need to cook dinner. Fuchi has always been a treat due to the distance and has always been delicious and reasonable in price. The prices have raised a lot since I last visited and sadly the quality has dropped. If I could give 0 star I would."

"Delicious food and well presented. Every plate of food from the dry prawns to the soft noodles and the chilli chicken were masterfully cooked and served. The staff were polite and attentive. The decor of the restaurant very welcoming and the prices were also spot on perfect! This would be our "go-to" restaurant if we lived locally. Well done to the owners, chefs and staff. Simply superb."
