Then I saw Sonic plushies, and I got kinda excited, then I turned into the plush section and I saw PIGGY TOYS. PIGGY TOYS!! "Ear piercing establishments are few and far between. I looked for a quiet jeweller but no luck. Went to Claire's and spoke to the girl and they seemed knowledgeable and told me to book online. Booked online and received 3 confirmation texts. Turned up on the morning of the piercing 10 minutes prior to appointment. Shop closed, clearly meant to be open according to opening hours on window. Waited around. Went home with a disappointed child. Contacted another, bigger Claires, they advised of staff shortages and said to rebook. Rebooked at another store much further from my home and arrived 10 minutes before apt. At the exact appointment time was told apt was actually 15 minutes later than I had made it and than my confirmation. Low and behold 5 mins prior to confirmed apt they had text and had changed the time (I set off from home 1 hour previous to apt). Had to wait around. The girl doing the piercing was very friendly and careful and happy to receive feedback so that was a positive. The piercing experience was average, a busy position infront of a window lots of passers by not good for anxious individuals. Earring stock was so low we couldn't even get an average 18ct gold earring and had to settle for 9ct gold. All in all a disappointing experience, mostly caused by a flawed booking system, and in turn staff not willing to take any responsibility for same. Always a shame to have good staff who have to put up with customer complaints as a result of a technical fault that can easily be recoded."

"Went in to look for a replacement earring for a pair I bought two months ago on Claires. The staff were really rude. I couldn't find the ones I wanted and asked the girls at the till. They both ignored me and continued chatting. When one girl finally desided to help, she told me to go look myself. I told her I already had and couldn't find any. She said back Would you like me to look? to which I replied yes please. She then rolled her eyes at me, marche dtl the top of the shop, hardly looked at the earring and told me to go order online instead before briskly walking back to the till. I left straight away after the exchange work in retail myself and have never treated customers like this, it was highly rise and unprofessional."
