Reviews of Lidl
"I am shopping at Gulliver's Lidl only for few items every few days and I always see new staff working there. I'm unhappy about their till staff. Once I was overcharged for cheap donuts by some young lad. Different day I got charged for wrong kind of bread by a lass, I told kindly that is not the correct one and she corrected it. Another time I asked kindly to pay for two items separately and even put dividers but different lass scanned them both on the same transaction. This last time, I also needed two items separately and a got them. However, he gave me same receipt twice and asked him kindly to give me another one but he said it's not possible. I am not nitpicking or witch hunting but this is my experience from 50% of the time I go through the tills. I could also be talking about their lack of attention to see long queues behind the tills as well but I know it's not always easy to maintain more staff on tills at all times. My main grudge is with the staff training on tills. You can do it better, I don't have the same issue in other stores."
"Nice little Lidl.looks like every other Lidl but on first anniversary of the store, they gave away a nice chocolate bar via their app. Sweet...!!! Most things are in stock and staff are really nice. Edit after an year: Still an excellent store"
"It was fine. Nothing extravagant. You can't bring the blue baskets out or the alarm will go off. There is a good deal on 7up and club orange. Works out to around 50/52c a can. The bakery is good value for money. The ailes can get busy with people and employees stocking from large pallets"
"This place is a joke. Bad joke. I'm shopping here nearly every day, as I am local. Queues are unreal. There are 6 tills. Never seen more than 2 working at the same time. Disgraceful. Once you get to the cashier, you hear them talking to other person through their headphones having fun rather than giving you attention with simple Hello. They couldn't care less if you have packed your shopping they'll just start scanning another person's shopping. Asking for help on the floor? Good luck with that. "If it is not there, where it usually is, we do not have it" I am not even going to start talking about the security staff who make you feel really really uncomfortable. Following you and making you feel like you cant really have a look at stuff or decide.... Thanks to few cashiers though, who are nice to the customers, even wish you a"
