"What a wonderful time at Farmleigh house with the Christmas Carols. The house was open to the public, giving access to the main hall, the beautiful glass conservatory (ideal for reception), the beautiful dining room, and the magnificent library. The library is home to treasure books such as a first edition of Gulliver travel. It is typically accessible to the head of state and some students for their research."
"Had a wonderful couple of hours at Farmleigh. Had a guided tour of the house with a really excellent tour guide. Amazing place and history. Afterwards, lunched at The Boathouse. Were served lovely food as we sat by the lake and watched the ducks. Thoroughly recommend a visit."
"We had an amazing time in this wonderful garden and estate. It was a great spot to go to for a little walk but also to see some pure herbs and a well kept garden with a fountain. The boat house next to the estate also offer a wide array of snacks, food options and hot/cold beverages. We were glad to have a ice cream also. The house is next to a lake with some ducks chilling around. We'd recommend going there for an afternoon and enjoy the estate and gardens. It's open until 5 o clock and looks like a secure area."
"A lovely spot for a walk. Beautiful gardens, a nice little lake with a boathouse café. There are some horses and sculptures and a good few benches to sit down."
"Beautiful big estate house, free tour and free parking. Nice walks and a wee cafe to grab a coffee and a snack by the lake. Worth a visit if you’re in the Phoenix park."
