"United Tyres, Dundrum was great. Very honest guy! I went to get a flat tyre fixed. He pumped up my flat tyre to see where the puncture was & found there was no leak or puncture at all. He said that that sometimes happens. He COULD have said - "Yep, you need a new tyre. € 60 please". He just put the repumped-up tyre back on & charged me nothing."

"I thought my tyre was punctured but after a careful inspection they understood that actually there was a problem with the wheel. As I had already changed the tyre a few times on that same wheel in other shops, I understood that the issue with the wheel was probably old and the other shops hadn’t spotted it. Well done to united tyres !"

"Updating upon request from United tyres. I always used these guys for new tyres and repairs, as did my extended family. Went in one day looking a new tyre as mine had blown and it was undeliverable. Needed a new tyre for my campervan as was going on a long family holiday, which I mentioned etc. They had none in stock which was grand, however then he remembered he had a 2nd hand one in back that was taken off another van recently. Came out and fitted it to the rim for me for 30 quid. Which I thought was great. When I was putting it on I noticed a few marks on it, and had my brother in law (mechanic) look at it. He told me it didn't look good and to to get straight to a tyre shop with it. Which I did. (Another tyre shop as I was out of county). They took one look at it and deemed it dangerous. Said any extended motorway driving would potentially cause a blowout. (White lining visible when rubber pulled back). Had to get a new tyre. Brought the old tyre back to United Tyres for a refund. He says no problem, and comes out with 25 euro. When I said it was 30 he had the cheek to say "A fiver for my efforts". I got the full 30 back in the end as I wasn't paying someone 5 quid when their efforts almost endangered my family. Please check tyres for damage more thoroughly in future !"
