"Dirty company with no ethics. Their sales representative Neill sold me a service over the phone that Elavon provide lower payment processing fees than Stripe to which I agreed. Turns out that this is dependant on which plan you’re using with Shopify which Neill didn’t mention and their service turned out to be more expensive hence why I asked twice for my my Direct Debit payments to be stopped, they weren’t so I cancelled directly through the bank and now they’ve passed the ‘debt’ I owe them to a debt collector. Won’t get a cent from me and will be taking legal action against them."

"Absolutely disgraceful treatment. Having gone through the effort to set up a new account with them and submitting all of the required documents, they told me they were waiting on approval from the underwriting team. I’ve been chasing them ever since as have heard nothing back. Eventually they respond to my email telling me there is nothing they can do in terms of updating me with the status of my account and that all I can do is call the sales team. Which I managed to do on one occasion and was told someone would call me back with an update, but have heard nothing since. I’ve calling again on several occasions but they won’t answer. I’ve essentially been ghosted by elavon. Very frustrating.(update) I’ve since sent another email this morning as requested in below response, and have heard nothing back. Ridiculously bad service."

"Dirty dirty company to deal with. As a merchant, once a customer makes a claim no matter what the reason, they have no process in place to examine the reason.. without any question they just rob your bank account and give it to the customer. We have had several instances during the pandemic where customers were awarded full refunds without consulting us first even though the customers had recieved their goods in full. Avoid Avoid Avoid. These are absolute scam artists."

"I can't generalize all of your staff, however, I was speaking to a gentleman over the phone this afternoon at around 15:54pm who was extremely unhelpful and rude. He repeatedly shouted at me and my colleague and told me to ''Hurry up'' at one stage, the instructions he gave unclear and his delivery was obnoxious and aggressive."
