"We recently moved to Rathfarnham with our 10yo Shih tzu and after reading the reviews we decided to try Parknbark. Today was our appointment and 2h30 later I got a call to pick up my dog, they told me over the phone that they couldn’t finish him because he was “snapping and trying to bite”. When I arrived to collect my dog, he had his head wet, head and paws with long hair, nails were not cut, eyes and ears were dirty. In 10 years of taking my dog to grommers I never saw/heard anything like that. The young lady told me that she couldn’t put herself in risk trying to finish him. When I asked what they expected me to do, they said I could bring him back another day and suggested sedating my dog to be able to groom him, really ?!?! They also wanted to charge €65 for the 30% of the job they had done, I refused and they say they could make it €50. Now I have to wait another few weeks to get him booked in another groomer. What a waste of time and money. Not sure if all their staff is bad but, this young lady is clearly not experienced or qualified for the job. My dog is not the easiest but nobody ever complained about grooming him and he never bites. Definitely not coming back!"

"I absolutely recommend this place for dog grooming. The staff is so friendly. They always take good care of my dog Harley, and he always comes out of here looking gorgeous. I had a really hard time finding a groomer for him during the pandemic. A friend recommended me to try ParknBark, and they were able to accommodate Harley despite being so busy, and I never looked back. Been over a year now that I bring him here for grooming, and I couldn't be happier with their services. Highly recommended."

"Took my Toy Pom in for a cut etc and was really happy with the results. So happy that they know how to cut & style properly and little Lola seemed happy and relaxed when I collected her. I would however suggest that you phone well in advance if you want a booking or you'll be disappointed."
