"I booked my dog in for Rabies vaccination and to get her EU passport about a week before the day of my ferry booking. When doing so I was not told that she couldn't travel until 21 days after the first of two shots. On asking about the passport the man replied "Oh, to get her back into the country." Which suggested, to this non vetinary professional that the vaccination and passport were about returning to Ireland, not leaving. So I went to the vet's on the day of my ferry to be told about the 21 days. I was understandably shocked, though of course the issue was caused by me not checking requirements early enough. But had I been told about the 21 days I could have changed my ferry booking -I couldn't do so 12 hrs from the sailing time. Additionally, the vet was adamant that they had no responsibility to tell customers about the 21 days - really! She repeated the same information again and again despite me saying I understood. To my shame I raised my voice too much and didn't help the situation - I tried to apologise and explain my understandable stress, as and that becaused if slightly impaired hearing I dont know that im raising my voice, but she refused to listen, calling the practice manager into the room. The practice manager immediately went on the offensive, refusing to hear my side of the vet's story. When I asked for clarification about the 21 days she said that "... we don't do many Rabies vaccinations so can't expect staff to know the regulations when customers call." and that "We only have one male staff member, who is here 11 years, and he wouldnt make a mistake about vaccinations."! Yet both she and the vet were quoting chapter and verse at me. After I left this vet's I called three others to see about vaccinating my dog. All three advised me about the 21 days. The worst error, however, was that the manager said to me that "YOU COULD GO TO THE FERRY, THEY MIGHT NOT CHECK THE VACCINATIONS."!!!!!! WOW! The vet, at a different practice, who actually did the Rabies shot told me "Oh, I definitely wouldn't do that. At the port in Spain they'd put her in quarantine, for weeks."! Finally, this week I received a letter from the practice telling g me that I am no longer welcome as a customer. This I fully accept as I did become excited and quite rude, but did they really think I had any intention of returning?"
"Amazing team there! They're all very friendly and professional! Highly recommended"

"The team in Stillorgan Village Vets are amazing and any pet/owner is lucky to have this team on their side. They are the kindest, most talented team. But most off all, they really do care Thanks for everything you do"
"I don’t normally write reviews but I have to say the brilliant service we had here last week has made me a lifelong customer. We brought our golden retriever mix Barley and she received such kind and compassionate care. I could tell right away that the the staff were lovely people who truly care about each and every animal that enters their clinic. We are first time dog owners and all the staff were incredibly patient to answer our questions, no matter how small. Honestly I wish I could rate them higher. Highly recommend."
