"Very helpfull staff. Small store. Good product variety there."
"Small shop which can be found inside the main building. Not a large selection of games (I did not see a pre owned games for example) so you might not find what you are looking for unless they're brand new released games. They do have a nice Pokémon goodies section though."
"Great team, great store. Visited the store on Saturday (16/10/22) to collect an item I had ordered. The team working that day were especially helpful (Marlon and Amy) and went out of their way to help me with a difficult request. Super happy with the help and the overall customer service. Thank you. A+++"
"This was not my first, but definitely my last experience with SD. I bought 2 pairs of joggers in one of the stores, they seemed nice and the price was 25 pounds for 2 pairs. When I got home and tried them again I realized that those were rather small and a bigger size would be better for me. I then returned to the store and asked for a return and refund, but it turned out that THEY DO NOT REFUND MONEY, only store credit! Nobody ever warned me when I was buying! OK, I just wanted a bigger size, so I accepted. BIG MISTAKE! They gave me credit notes to use but didn't have the size in the store, so I went online and found a bigger size and ordered them. BUT! They charge for delivery, even for in-store pick-up, so I had to pay extra money from my bank card. AFTER 2 DAYS of waiting I received an email where SD has canceled one of the items because they don't have it in stock! After this, I received another of their credit notes, but the amount of it was less than it was supposed to be and the difference was THE DELIVERY CHARGE! So they not only screw me up, but they also charged me for the delivery TWICE! And when I tried to contact customer service, the best they could do is apologize for the inconvenience caused! So, I would not recommend to anyone to use their services and buy their goods. The goods are of poor quality anyway."
"Such a shame we’ve gone from losing Gamestation in town, 3 GAME stores in town, the awesome Weston Favell store… to this. It’s located on the first floor inside House of Frasier and you feel cramped in with just a few other customers. Sad times really, not the staffs fault but to downsize to this scale reminds me of a back alley independent store charging 3x retail not what you’d expect to see from a national chain. Maybe offering great incentives to be THE place to trade, collectors editions at the ready not just pre orders. Offering Elite cards just to get online delivery costs back in store credit. What a shame for such an awesome hobby. Online sales only for me now, if they can’t support the stores that had great customer base and just got rid of the ones that were too close to each other but I’m not supporting something that’s too far out the way and an inconvenience to get to rather than trailing around another stores space just to get to an area not much bigger than a prison cell that quite literally can’t hold the stock of a nice off the chance purchase while I’m browsing the few shelves they have. Whoever’s in charge of these decisions needs reviewed and quickly before it’s just another retail casualty."
