ClubSports (Snooker Pool and Darts)

"Unfortunately I am giving this Club a one star as the experience I have had over the past two days has been nothing short of appalling. While it was a busy weekend, there is no excuse for poor management and behaviour from a club that has good reviews. A member of staff had some attitude towards myself and other individuals which made me and them feel super uncomfortable. You should not be talking to customers in such rude tones and passive aggressive behaviours should not be permitted in any circumstance. Disgusting toilets which should have been managed by the hour made using them very difficult, as is the problem of only having 2 Stalls in the Mens bathrooms in total. This should have been accounted for due to the event occurring at the time. As someone with urinal anxiety and body issues this certainly did not make it easy for frequent use. Despite all of this, to top it all off, there is a rule which does not permit food bought outside to be eaten in the venue. While I do understand there are some rules to be followed, not everyone can follow it, especially when some people are mentally and physically vulnerable (with eating disorders or otherwise). Myself, for instance could not eat the food they offered so I was forced to go in to the local supermarket, for food I could eat at affordable prices. I asked politely if I could be allowed but I was rejected. Heating was limited and lacklustre and it affected the gameplay of many players. At some points I felt like the heating was deliberately not on. Considering the cold weather I was shivering. My mental health was naturally suffering due to the amount of people there in a small space but to be told to eat outside, especially without anyone else freely available made me feel really embarrassed and scared as I don't come to Northampton often. The only thing I would say is that the snooker tables are reasonably priced per hour, but this did not making a dent on my appalling experience."

"Good place to come and enjoy game of pool, darts, snooker and also they have football table. Good quality tables, very well looked after. Friendly staff and decent prices. Great fun to enjoy time with friends or family. Recent refurbishment made this place much more modern and nice to stay in."

Mick, Elliot and Brandon, the bar staff, are always a great help and incredibly welcoming, and the new starter Roshan is very very friendly. The food is great, definitely worth the money, and the table prices are very reasonable. Can't reccomend it enough."
