"Absolutely beautiful place, very friendly and accommodating staff. We rented two canoes for 6 hours. If you want to get to Tea Rooms you need to put an effort in and not stop for blackberries on the way. We were late returning the canoes and staff made us feel like it was no problem at all even though they had to wait for us most likely past their clocking off time on a Friday afternoon. Please accept our apologies for that Canoe2, we did paddle as hard as we could on the way back once we realised we may be late. Don't be put off by the health and safety speech before setting off, just take it easy and enjoy the surroundings. Taking canoes out of the water at locks is hard work and they try to make it as easy as possible with detachable wheels. It is all worth it once you're back on the water. We will be back Canoe2! And we will return canoes on time, I promise."
