Reviews
"It's an iconic place of worship and although not the oldest church in Northampton probable the most interesting. Purists don't like the additional extentions made to the original Norman building but without them there would be no room for the many additional plaques which tell the story of the County Regiment and the sacrifice it made. The building shows bullet holes from the civil war but it is the round church itself, full of atmosphere that is the most striking. If possible make a visit when a play is being performed and just soak up the hundreds and hundreds of years of history."
"Unfortunately didn't get to see inside it or attend a service, but it still made a big impression on me from just viewing the beautifully built exterior. According to the information outside it is one of only four remaining rotund or 'round' churches left in the England and was build circa 1100."
"A really beautiful church, calm and content. Was not lucky enough to attend service and the church was closed but really lucky that we met two people Michael and Yohan who let us in and see the church. It was an amazing experience. A must visit place"
"Wonderful historic building. The church services held in the zoo so-called 'Round' are lovely and intimate. Very welcoming congregation. Worth a visit. Enjoy, Christiaan :-) :-)"
"Atmospheric, historic and dramatic gem - no wonder it's popular for staging plays! So much to see. In natural light you get an amazing impact of light and shadow that adds to how special it feels. Pay parking is close by including wide access disabled bays."
