Clarick Cleaning

"I really wanted to like this company after it was recommended to us by family members but the customer service has been dreadful. I have contacted Clarick Cleaning on 3 separate occasions to book a spring clean and regular service and each time I have been met with the same response, 'someone will contact you'. I completely understand being busy and/or not being able to take on new clients (if this is the case) but it would be helpful if this was made clear from the beginning instead of making potential customers wait with no response. One month later and no call back, now looking elsewhere."

"Appallingly bad service. We tried them for five months. First cleaner pleasant but very slow. Second cleaner started well but gradually got worse, missing parts of the house, chatting loudly on his phone to personal friends, turning up late. Communication between the cleaners and the office is non existent. They appeared not to know about cancelled sessions and kept billing us for all the sessions. The billing system was opaque and in the end I had to ask for weekly billing. I was able then at least to cancel payments when the cleaner didn't attend. When we had finally had enough, we cancelled the service only to be met by a bill for £27. Fortunately I had kept records so disputed the bill. Anyone who trusted Clarick to keep accurate records would be vulnerable to overcharging. They did not monitor the cleaning. They never asked us for feedback, not even after we cancelled the contract. They just kept asking for money. They agreed not to pursue us for the outstanding amount which we didn't owe. No apology. The person who came out to set up the cleaning was pleasant but again, nothing we told her was passed on. Or if it was, the cleaner forgot."
