Reviews of East Ruston Old Vicarage Garden
"Really impressed with all the gardens - everywhere! 32 Acres is a very big area, and I'm afraid we didn't cover it all.. Really well planned and executed, some wonderful plants, all seemingly in the right environment for them! Initially thought admittance price of £11-50 a bit steep, but not once you could see just how much care and love has been poured into this lovely space!"
"Such beautifully maintained gardens! I went with my young family while visiting Great Yarmouth, definitely a must see if gardens interest you! So much to see with many different gardens. I would recommend buying a guide book. Most staff were lovely but I felt some of the cafe staff could have been more welcoming. Please note, another review says to bring a picnic as the cafe gets busy (Which it does!) There is a sign when you enter saying picnics are not allowed, so bare this in mind."
"Lived in Norfolk all my life and never knew this existed. We went on Father's day and the gardens blew my mind so much to see and total love showed by the owners. The cafe was reasonably priced and great home cooked cakes are a must. We will be back soon."
"Wanted to come here for so long, brought the mother in law along as a birthday treat.Took my two boys as well and they really enjoyed exploring the different gardens.we picked a rainy day, but that didn't put a damper on it. We had a little treat in the tea room, which went down well. The gardens are just incredible. Loved exploring this place. There was so much to see, every corner you turned. You can tell its a well loved and looked after garden. What a fantastic hidden gem."
"These gardens are great. Buying a map might be a good idea or using Google maps to keep a track of where you’ve been. The gardens are immense, eclectic and interesting. I can’t even begin to imagine what they are like in the summer. The cafe is really good. We sat outside with a ploughman’s each. Loads of beautiful outdoor spaces to sit. We had a cheeky robin join us. Great plant shop and lots of secondhand tools."
