Reviews of The Wool Shed
"The staff is amazing and the location is cool, but the food is less cool because it was untasted, nothing special. I was here to watch a football game with more than 10 people, and everything went well. We had made reservations in advance. We will return for a drink without a doubt, but I'm not sure if we will also eat."
"It's a nice big place and the karaoke was a good bit of fun. Nachos were really disappoting at β¬14 and waiter service was slow at times.. Drinks not bad. It's worth a visit to watch sports or do the Karaoke night."
"one of the best pubs to watch sports in Dublin, big screens and tvs throughout the bar, 3 spaces with bars and drinks and sells wonderful food and snacks. during the world cup it was just like a stadium, with lots of people cheering and music before and after the game, including live participation."
"My family and I went there on Saturday with friends. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The food was not the tastiest. We all had different hamburgers. I found my burger to be very bland. I am not fussy when it comes to food but the price I paid for 3 people I was expecting the burger to have more flavour. Overall it is a nice place and the staff were excellent."
"A great place to grab a bit to eat before you go to the cinema next door or head out for the night. We had booked a table in advance which was lucky because they were broadcasting many sporting events on the day. It was quiet packed when we went in but got a table upstairs immediately. As usual I had spent a day or so going throught the food & drinks menu trying to narrow down what to have. We had a lovely waiter called Caio who took or drink order & left us to decide on our food. As per previous reviews I found it strange paying immediately each time we ordered something but looking around at how busy it was I completely understand & found it handy not having to track down a waiter later on. We ordered large chicken wings with Louisiana sauce, medium chicken wings with barbecue sauce, the burger of rhe month (Tex Mex), crispy bbq chook and cheesy garlic fries. Absolutely yum. We also ordered Hop House (on tap) for himself and a fab Margarita followed by a nice strawberry daquiri. The one thing I would highlight is that if you don't like sports or loud music this might not be the ideal spot over the weekend when there's a busy sporting calendar. We hope to got back & might see if there is a "quieter" time to eat & chat."
