"I rate the Upton Way Hotel an excellent 10/10. Quiet, very clean, nice atmosphere. Mrs. Manager Iwona is a very helpful and nice person, you can always rely on her. I will definitely come back here again. Regards and recommend to everyone..."
"It's OK nothing fancy. The heating was working perfectly fine. The water pressure was good. Mattress and pillows were also comfortable. The decor was ageing but the rest was OK. The door key was manual. Key fob rather than scannable card entry. Parking has limited space, first come first serve. Sainsbury's 3 mins drive. 24 hrs M&S food on site."
"Wow, this is possibly one of the worst hotels I have had the displeasure of staying in. The outside was untidy, half the sign not light up. Moving forward, a stinking reception but with a helpful lad behind the worn out dated desk with a covid screen in the way. Got my room key, walked into the hotel section and it’s like being transported back in time with the decor. However, with the patina that comes with 30 years of hard use. It’s tatty, dirty, walls all marked and scuffed. It stinks! I was lucky to experience room 205, it was very basic. No charging points near the bed, now where to plug a phone in as the sockets are too low and close to the worn out table. Everything was tired, the shower curtain was moldy at the bottom and the bath tub had a trail of rust in it. The bed, the ONE key point of a hotel, was so uncomfortable, the pillows were like bricks also and I had the worst nights sleep in a long time IT REALLY IS DISGUSTING"
"Staff friendly and helpful, no matter the time of day, and they don't keep you waiting. It's nice there's a bath AND a shower. Toilet is well stocked and clean. Beds are clean and comfortable. More sockets would have been nice, especially by the bed. A hair dryer, an iron and a small fridge would have been useful accessories to the room. It has a free carpark. Oh and did I forget to mention George? Nothing too much trouble for him."
"Pleasant helpful staff but again this unit is in need of an upgrade. A lick of paint and new carpets would be nice. Car park could do with a good sweep to remove nails and other stuff that builders leave behind. Considering its on a site with a busy service station it is remarkably quiet. The petrol station has a Marks and Spencer mini shop, expensive but really handy."
