"Eight of us took a long forest walk to this pub. We had not booked in advance but they were able to accommodate us by giving us a large table and adding a couple of chairs. The decor was lovely and everything was clean and well presented. We had fish and chips, burgers and roast dinners that were ample and delicious. The service was brilliant by all staff checking that our meals were good, that we had everything we needed, they booked a cab for part of the group and took a photo of our party. Excellent from start to finish."
"I stayed for the Bank Holiday weekend with my boyfriend. It's a lovely gorgeous pub with four guest rooms upstairs. Our room was well decorated and clean. The breakfasts were amazing and they pretty much set you up for the day. This is such a lovely charming place and I would recommend it to my family and friends to go there."
