"Popped into the new community grocery in Burslem. First impressions, very good. For me, the fruit and veg is the best part. The value is incredible. You're allowed 12 items for £4 but that includes say 3 leeks = 1 item, 7 onions = 1 item etc. Also, they have the vegan sausages I'd heard about. So with the torpedo rolls, onions, sausages and tomatoes that was a very cheap tea. The tins and jars are a fairly narrow range but all the essentials are there. I grabbed a couple of green curry jars which worked out at 33p each. Bargain. Store is small but clean and friendly."
