"I really don’t like Lceland. It give this illusion of being good value for money when it’s just not! They have really gone downhill now. They seem to be so focused on brand deals with random brands and companies. The branded foods are just so so expensive! I’d rather just go to the likes of Greg’s then but it frozen and try to make something that resembles what it’s actually supposed to be. It’s so god dam noisy too! The open fridges makes it hard to hear yourself think! And the freezer aisle is so so hot! All the freezer has big vents on them that blow hot air at each other! it’s like walking down an aisle with lots of electric heaters on! Also they still have there covid bits up to give the illusion that they care, but there’s no hand sanitizer at either of the machines and the bin is spewing open too."
"Brilliant grand opening event. Drew a rather large crowd, us coming from Hanley, one lady walking an hour to attend the event. Upon entry, the first 100 customers recieved a random money off voucher ranging from £5 to £100 off their shop. All customers were also handed a 10% off voucher for their next shop. The shop was well stocked with bargains and discounts alike. The staff were friendly and chatty and willing to lead customers a hand. Overall the store was great, offered everything you could need for great prices, very good event, many thanks Iceland!"
"Opened today so very tidy as you'd expect, but I was very impressed by it anyway! It's deceptively large inside if you've ever been to the property when it was Argos, and they make good use of space. There are a lot of aisles and while they're fairly narrow it still manages to feel light and airy. However, one downside is the car park, which is fairly cramped and is pay and display. It is also situated on a hill which makes using the trollies not a simple manoeuvre."
