Established in 1936, the UCD School of Archaeology is one of the oldest, largest and most respected schools of archaeology in Ireland. Our reputation for excellence is built on our experienced and dedicated faculty, whose expertise spans the breadth of the archaeological world, from prehistoric to modern times across Europe and beyond.

Our students have the opportunity to engage in hands-on learning experiences, including fieldwork on actual archaeological sites throughout Ireland and internationally. We offer undergraduate, graduate and doctoral programs, as well as post-graduate research opportunities.
