Reviews of St Louis Senior Primary School
"The education is good and I like the school the teachers are good"
"Fabulous mixed school. Although it is Catholic it is very inclusive & welcomes all religions. Our two daughters attended the school and both have had great experiences, with really wonderful teachers. They have loads of afterschool activities now back on after including Ukulele, Drama, Art & Gaelige Club. They also have an afterschool homework club on from Monday to Thursday which is very reasonable. The Parent Association organise extra activities for the kids including tennis, soccer, morning swimming club as well as other fun events. They also have social nights for parents. I'd particularly recommend the school if your child is musical as they organise music lessons in almost all instruments as they have a school orchestra which has won awards. My daughter is learning Cello at the moment with a excellent teacher who plays in the National Symphony Orchestra. Just to note the Senior Primary School has classes from 2nd to 6th class but is on the same grounds as St Louis Infant School (Junior Infants to 1st class - also a great school) and shares a hall & play areas with them. If I was pushed to fault the school at all, they could probably do with a little more outdoor green space but that is often the case for schools close to the city centre. They seem to make great use of their 3 play areas/yards which have been upgraded them recently. They also often have use of the nearby grounds of Cathal Brugha barracks for PE classes and have swimming classes in Swan Leisure. Overall St Louis has been great for our daughters & I really can't recommend it highly enough."
"3 times I called the secretary to ask for a letter and she always told me yes I do this right now and I will email you. Never happened. How irresponsible you ca be and with disrespect for other people who my need that letter maybe urgent."
"This school is amazing, coming from a former student, I made really great memories without knowing so, I miss this place, and I would definitely recommend this school to people who are considering! Ms Doherty is a cool teacher! Graduated in the year 2019."
