"One word. Avoid. Service was awful, nails were painted terribly and left with my cuticles bleeding. Equipment used was filthy. Nails were all different in shape, and actually painful to have on. I went to a different nail parlour the following week to have them removed and the glue was so thick and uneven the technician struggled to remove them."
"I came here a few days ago with my friends who didn't get anything done but they came with me anyway. The owners spoke little English and it was very hard to explain what I wanted even though it was a simple design. My friends sat down and waited for me and when the male owner came back he started on my nails. It looked like he had just picked up his daughter from school. The daughter was about 7-8 and was very nice but she was talking to everyone touching my friends stuff and running round the shop. Which I wasn't overly that bothered with untill the parents were just smiling and laughing. I just thought that coming to get my nails done would be relaxing and wish the parents just sat her down or something rather than let her run round. The design that I wanted was blue nails with a lighter blue heart on top. As the woman started to put the polish on top I had to stop her as she was doing the light blue on the whole nail and I wanted the dark blue. She got confused and all I said was "sorry can I have the dark blue on all my nails please not the light blue". I even pointed to what I wanted while explaining. She then started to talk to the man because she got confused. The man then told me how the light colour would look better so I just said "ok but I would like the darker colour please". I found this a bit rude as it was a simple request and that I originally said but they decided to tell me what they thought was better. They then looked fed up and just went along with what I said. When she was doing the hearts she did them very wonky and it looked like a child had done it. I was a bit annoyed about this as it was a really simple design, but it didn't look that bad. Over all I like my nails but I don't think I would go again because I felt a bit awkward at times and there was not interaction with the customers unless I spoke to them. I suggest if anyone is planning on going don't get a design just get polish. :)"
"my friend had a set of acrylics on, we phoned up yesterday and the said the price would be £30 and when they finished they tried charging £35. She showed the women a picture on her phone what she wanted which was blue french coffin tips and got disgusting blotchy blue tips which covered half her nail. The woman doing her nails spoke very little english and was watching a reality tv show or something while prepping her nails then proceeded to answer personal telephone calls. after that the man and woman starting have an argument in mandarin which made me and her feel uncomfortable. After we left the shop we saw how poorly the woman had did it, majority of the nails are different shapes and sizes and are all wonky. Later on we went back and wanted to confront them about how poor quality they were and the man kept saying how it was her fault and her skin was already like that. i would NOT recommend going here, as it is unhygienic and appalling service."
"I had my acrylic nails done today and and they are awful my skin is completely ruined and most of my nails aren’t the right shape. Oh my right hand my pinky is Wonky. When we went back in they tried to blame me for the cuts on my hand and for not telling the woman what I wanted but I showed her the picture. Overall I would not suggest going here it’s a waste of 35£ and they do not listen to anything you have to say!"
"If you have any care for your nails, Don't subject yourself to this scam. My girlfriend went here and could barely communicate with the man working there with his levels of broken English. She showed him a reference photo of what she wanted and he said that he could do it. More and more things seemed shabby about the place seeing as how unhygienic the working conditions were there since he didn't wash his hands which were visibly dirty and the equipment wasn't cleaned either. He was so rough with the work he was doing and filed away a lot of skin which was previously healthy but he still kept on just rushing through the job even quicker as another customer arrived. After the nails were ruined and painted like nothing of what she requested he covered not only her nails but her fingers as well in a thick nail gel which was close to impossible to remove afterwards. The charging price was £25 as the worker told my girlfriend before he started and afterwards when she paid with £30 cash, he didn't bother giving her the change and started working on someone else. She didn't confront him at this moment seeing as how he was already working on someone else and communication was close to impossible seeing how he could barely speak English and she was already close to tears. All in all, her nails were completely ruined by these people working here so I'd advise anyone to never step a foot near this place. There's a reason this place is so empty and you can just walk in and have them done, do yourself a service and go to the ivy suite or perfected tips instead."
