"Don't bother buying gig tickets to this venue - the sound is dreadful, it's SO dingy and absolutely filthy. The standing area with a view of the stage is a narrow dancefloor with huge pillars, I've never seen a venue less suited to concerts - it's just a sticky, cramped nightclub"
"The club itself is great I enjoy it every time I go! But the BOUNCERS at the doors are getting more ridiculous as it goes. nearly was refused to go in because I couldn’t speak Polish properly?? How silly does that sound?? Explained myself to him even though I did not have to like what is it to him that I can’t speak polish properly? Then him making comments about it… I am so disappointed!! Fix up!"
"Club is nice but securtiy staff is very quite rude.. Also they included 1 drink on the ticket before, but now they are getting more and more stingy."
"I dusted off my dancing shoes and hit TRAMLINE, for the first time, to dance the Saturday away to Latin music. The security were professional and friendly and informed me that "all drinks are €3". Admission was €3 and the cloakroom (mandatory, to keep your belongings safe) was €2 for a jacket, but backpacks and other articles are priced slightly higher. The venue itself was spacious, aesthetic and exciting with a good balance of space to dance and pillars to place drinks. The music was latin/salsa centric with the DJ not afraid to step away from the Latin themed music every now and again. Point to note: not all drinks are €3 despite what is advertised/what you are told. It may be worth clarifying with your bartender (a glass of wine for example, is excluded and commands a higher price). Conclusion: a well structured established with good music and visuals, good for groups. Perhaps more clarity on drinks offers in future would help. But, unlike other Dublin bars, TRAMLINE does it right with the staff who, as any night time economy should be, are customer friendly."
