"I booked in at the Longton branch.. I was lead in by a 13 year old Saturday boy. Once in, I was seated on a chair with hair, table in front still had the previous customers hair, dirty mug and a brush full of hair! Appalling! After waiting 15 minutes past me appointment a pregnant lady came in, she asked what I would like and I explained, when asking her basic questions she spoke back extremely rudely and asked if she should carry on.. I still went ahead. She instantly started highlighting my hair but refused a colour on head due to no skin test, which was fine till she later did apply colour on my bleached hair right through to the skin. When my hair was ready to be shampooed she called the 13 year old boy and said he should do it, this boy splashed my face with water a number of times and accidentally pulled my hair, this process lasted around 25/30 mins. The hair dresser who constantly disappeared for most of my hair appointment then came back once I was seated another 5 mins later, she started to dry my hair with another young girl who also looked like a trainee, I had 2 women drying my hair, the younger girl had her hair dryer so close to my head I felt the burns. I requested for it to be moved back. I also requested my hair be cut whilst washed but the hairdresser said it 'didn't really matter' When drying my hair she did so at once without sectioning and I had damp hair once she was done. She then continued to straighten my hair very briefly. Customers came in the beauty lounge of the shop and the hairdresser and 13 year old mocked them. Surely customers aren't to be treated like this. This is the worst hairdresser out there! The service is appalling! I would rather next time have awful hair for a wedding than go to gill maidens! If the owners are reading this, I would like my money back as well as compensation! I should be paid for even going in there when I'd did."
