"probably very nice but 24 March 2023, too wet to navigate had to go elsewhere."
"Lovely woodland walk with the dogs on a Sunday morning."
"Lovely little woods. Free car park, fairly small. Trails are not marked very clearly but have fun just exploring. Good stream for dogs to splash around in. Boots are essential as it is muddy nearly all year and can flood in places during winter season."
"This is a great woodland. The blue Bell, wild garlic, wild mustard, celandine and wood anenomi carpets are fantastic. Good diversity of trees and ages. The streams make a great feature although not many places to cross. Newly laid car park off the Grove Hill Road."
"A nice and ancient woodland with shaded walks through a small wood. There are a few marked out routes through the wood, popular with dog walkers, young families and horse riders. The car park can only take about 6 or 7 cars. Two of the marked routes are about two miles, another two are 0.3 mile. At the end of the wood is a steam. It doesn't look like it's managed any more as the tarmacaded paths have eroded. It's co-owned by East Sussex County Council & the Environment Agency."
