"VAL IS THE BEST. This by far was the most fun, informational, entertaining and moving tour we’ve ever been on! Val was a dream to work with from the start. His deep knowledge of Ireland’s history (and some UK/Scot history mixed in) is unbelievable. He helped us formulate our own itinerary knowing what we wanted to see and made some incredible recommendations. We connected via email after I was researching some private tours and I found him! He should be at the top of the list he’s so amazing! First off, the bus is an almost new, large luxury Mercedes van. The 5 of us had a ton of room to spread out! Second, Val is an amazing human being. He’s funny, light hearted but also brings his own zest to history. Listening to a person who grew up in Ireland telling the stories and legends (ask about Finn McCool! LOL!) was so interesting and really informational. I learned more from him than I did through any other research! Second, this was white glove service from start to finish. Val was always early to our meeting space and kept our entire trip on time! Not that that mattered to us greatly at the time because we were so immersed in learning about Irish history and seeing things he recommended at our stops to notice if we were or weren’t on time. I’ll add that he was so flexible on that as well! At one point we were a few minutes (like 20 if I’m being honest) and Val was amazing. “No problem!” Classic Val. He’s the best. Finally, and this really got me, Val gave us the warmest welcome. My friend and I are Irish and we had lots of things to learn about our heritage. At one point, Val welcomed us “home” and shared how proud our ancestors would be of where were all at today. We both were in tears. It was so moving. And a sentence later we were cracking jokes and laughing again! This was by far our favorite trip. We will book Val every single time we visit Ireland hands down - we will never look elsewhere. Seriously, why are you still reading this? BOOK VAL RIGHT NOW!!!! STOP WAITING! Val - thank you for everything! We will be back and we can’t wait to host you and your family someday in Chicago!"

"Booked several private 1 day excursions while in Ireland for a week, and are blessed that 2 of those were through Your Irish Tours! Hands down the best 2 days of our trip. What could have been long, boring, rainy drives instead were filled with interesting Irish insights (historic and current), fun folklore and stories, lots of laughter, and great recommendations. The days flew by, we saw more beautiful and interesting things than we could have hoped, and we met a new and wonderful friend and human being! Logistically, the tour bus was extremely clean and comfortable with plenty of room for 12 Americans and their day bags. Communication leading up to and during the trips was excellent. Our group of 9 just spent 9 days with Val touring Dublin, as far North as Ballintoy, Giants Causeway, west to Galway, Cliffs of Moher, and south to Dungarvan and many hidden gems in between. He went out of his way to make experiences happen that we didn’t think were possible. He was always early to pick us up and very flexible with our schedule. We love Val's humor, his singing and his incredible knowledge of Irish history. He made us feel like family and went above and beyond to make sure our vacation was one we would never forget! "I was lucky enough to spend three days with Val traveling to from Dublin to Cork to Galway and the Cliffs of Moher. I’m not usually big on tour guides, but I enjoyed every minute with Val on his bus and around Ireland. He’s incredibly knowledgeable about the history of Ireland as well as where the best places to eat and visit are hiding. He also goes out of his way to make sure you’re taken care of, even helping us make arrangements for activities that were separate from what we were doing with him. He’s reliable and shows up early. On top of all of that he’s so entertaining and fun to be around! My family and I had so many laughs on his bus. I would absolutely recommend Val and Your Irish Tour to anyone. You won’t regret it!"
