"I have used this shop for years and been happy. However, I bought a necklace before Christmas and realised when I put it on that it had a very bad smell (the fabric cord) as if it had been stored somewhere for years. I went into the shop (Brighton) las week to try to exchange it as the smell was overpowering. The girl working by herself was unpleasant and didn't even want to engage with me when I explained the situation! She was rude (I came in with someone who couldn't believe her attitude). She kept on saying that all the jewellery is checked thoroughly (!!!) and was very much on the defence and would not even look at the necklace or smell it. She said they don't do returns if not a manufacturing fault and was blaming me! Appalling customer service and she shouldn't be serving customers with this sort of attitude. I was very surprised that a small business would behave like this, and for the sake of an inexpensive necklace the least they could have done is take it back! I will no longer be shopping here and neither will my friends - there are plenty of other jewellery shops around - I have recommended so many friends and family to this shop too over the years. Very disappointing experience!"

"Absolutely vile customer service, wouldn’t refund my birthday present (a necklace) which I can’t wear because I had a tracheostomy in ICU and it lays over the incision? Hung up the phone to me when I called what he listed as his business number. Ableist man taking advantage of people in a less privileged situation than him. Then decided to spend the whole night harassing me on facebook with his friends!"
"Disappointed by the store and it's policy. Was NOT advised there's no refund on items purchased. BEFORE buying any item check their Online store, as I realized after I purchased a necklace that the same item online was 25% cheaper after they advised me to sign up to the newsletter which I received and the first item that appeared was the necklace I purchased in store on the same day. Other than that, it was clean little store and interesting pieces. Valentina was super friendly and helpful. Just to note, I visited the store 3 times, once was passing by with dog, so only glanced at items had not decided what to get, second time was to purchase this item, it was also the first time I saw this necklace, was initially looking at the cherry necklace but friends thought it was not suitable, therefore picked a more neutral necklace as gift, 3rd and last time I visited the store was for a refund, which was the first time I was pointed out the refund and exchange policy that is not prominently displayed. It's a shame. None the less, worth browsing, interesting pieces. Learnt my lesson to check online and ask re their shop policies in advance especially since it's a small store. Couple of things to remember when buying from a store like this: 1)check their online store first 2) always ask about refund policy before purchasing anything in case you change your mind."
