"I arrived very late in the day on a dark and horrendously wet Friday afternoon in Winter, desperate to have a constantly leaking rear tyre inspected. Despite being exceptionally busy, and officially closing shortly after my arrival, the mechanic assured me he could inspect the car if I was prepared to wait. I'm glad that I did. Although I waited for 30 minutes, this was no reflection on the staff, as they were tirelessly working on a number of other vehicles ahead of mine. Upon inspection, two screws had been driven to their depth in the tyre treads. As the punctures were less than an inch apart, a patch repair was impossible. The mechanic found a suitable all-season tyre to match the ones already fitted, and worked beyond closing time to complete the repair. Tyre replaced, I could continue home safely thanks to the exemplary service of this person. Appearances are deceptive. The premises may lack aesthetic appeal but the customer service is first rate. If the other staff demonstrate the same committment, customer service, and professionalism I discovered on that Wintry evening, then you're unlikely to find better mechanics no matter how hard you look."
